The Press Department was born from a recognition that there is a generation
of media and marketing professionals whose news and information comes
almost exclusively from online sources at the exclusion of printed newspapers
and magazines. A lack of familiarity with these printed media has inevitably
led to a lack of appreciation of the persuasive power of the printed word or
image.
The Press Department has been set up to offer media agencies specialist press
creative, planning and media buying. Its parent company is Lavery Rowe, the UK’s
largest independent press agency. Established over 40 years ago, Lavery Rowe
accounts for nearly 10% of the UK’s press advertising by volume
